Tour Difficulty – Is this tour right for you?

The tour difficulty level is “Moderate to slightly difficult”. You should be able to comfortably stand for 20-30 minutes at a time (while listening to the guide), to walk distances up to several miles during the day, at a normal group pace on paved and unpaved surfaces, cobblestone streets, ascending or descending stairs. Most of the sites are not designed to accommodate travelers using wheelchairs or other walking accessories. The vehicle/bus on the tour is not ADA-compliant and usually does not have a bathroom, but it is air-conditioned. It is possible to skip some of the sites (or entire days) by staying on the bus or in the hotel room, but no refund will be offered for unused entrance fees. If you suffer from any breathing difficulties, note that Cairo can have a heavy “blanket” of pollution during the morning hours, which usually clears around midday
