Shalom friends! It is with great pleasure to invite your family to celebrate your child's Bat/Bar Mitzvah in Israel this winter break. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate together with other families and enjoy an amazing tour of Israel! Let's see if we can gather 5-6 Jewish families and travel together for an adventure in the homeland!

The tour includes a Bat/Bar Mitzvah ceremony by the Dead Sea (Masada or the ancient Synagogue at Ein Gedi), as well as advance preparation by Rabbi Myra Hovav from the Reform movement in Israel.  The tour itself is especially designed for families with children ages 8-17, including educational and fun activities fit for the whole family in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, the Dead Sea, and the Negev Desert in the south. Fully escorted by yours truly, to ensure everything is just right.

Note please that the tour cost does not include flights to Israel, but private airport transfers are included, allowing each party to arrive and depart on any flight.

Also, the tour cost is based on a minimum of 20 participants. Some discounts are offered for children sharing a room with their parents or siblings. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about prices for your family. Be sure to invite your extended family and friends who may be interested in traveling with us!

Important note: Although the tour will visit mostly Jewish-themed sites and activities, Kosher food is not guaranteed and some of the travel is on Shabbat.

Reminder: Your passport must be valid at least six months beyond the date of return. For more information about current COVID restrictions and requirements, please visit the COVID-19 page.

Please go ahead and explore the tour through the links to the tour brochure and travel insurance. Otherwise, you are welcome to also get basic information by exploring the tabs below. It's important to read and understand all the information prior to registration.

Before registering for the tour, please note Scopia LLC is not registered as a "Seller of Travel" in the states of CA, WA and IA and therefore unable to welcome aboard participants who are residents of these states, unless the tour costs are wholly paid by someone else in a different state.

After acquainting yourself with all the tour details, please click on the "Register Now" button to register for the tour and pay your initial deposit. Please remember that each family member must complete their own form.

From here, we drive toward the hills of Jerusalem and tour a kibbutz with a local guide. Shortly afterwards, we enjoy lunch in the Arab village of Abu Ghosh (arguably, Israel’s best Hummus!) and then continue our drive to the Dead Sea – lowest point on earth. We check in to our hotel and enjoy a free evening with dinner at the hotel. OVERNIGHT – DEAD SEA
