WELCOME TO MOROCCO WITH SCOPIA LLC

Shalom, Welcome and Marhaba to Scopia LLC's page for Morocco!

When thinking of Morocco, the word that comes to my mind is diversity. Every area, every region, every city - each different from the others, with unique history, culture and experiences.

In the west you'll find the Atlantic coast while in the east the Sahara Desert welcomes you on a desert adventure with sand dunes as high as 500 meters. Between them lie snow-capped Atlas Mountains, towering at over 2,000 meters. Each of the regions and the main cities has its own personality, from modern Casablanca to breathtaking Chefchaouen (the blue city) to the ancient medinas in Fes and Marrakech - every stop on your tour feels like new, unchartered territory; ready for you to explore.

Even when it comes to hotels, Morocco offers a diverse range of options, from modern accommodations to beautiful "Riads" - old buildings turned into hotels with an inner courtyard. Some of these Riads are so unique, beautiful and serene - it's a bit hard to step out into the hustle and bustle of the city after breakfast, and it's always a wonderful place to return to after a long day of touring.

The people of Morocco come from many different backgrounds, including the indigenous Amazigh (Berbers) who live in villages in the Atlas Mountains and have their own language and culture. Jewish travelers will note the history of Jewish communities in Morocco, some of which exist until today. There are Synagogues in almost every major city and even some of the lesser-known places.

Generally speaking, the people of Morocco are friendly and welcoming. English is widely spoken, especially in tourism areas.

The food is delicious, made in a traditional clay pot (or plate) called Tajine and usually accompanied by Couscous and cooked vegetables. The "problem" with the people of Morocco is that they're always inviting you to eat, meaning you're likely to add a bit of weight even with all the touring.

Scopia LLC offers you small group tours to Morocco, incorporating the best that the country has to offer in terms of history, culture, food, architecture, accommodations (including some Riads) and much more.
